JOIN THE SBYPC BOARD
We are looking for professionally diverse, fun and dynamic people to join us!
The Non-Profit Liaison works closely with the Non-Profit Director to locate and obtain a local non-profit to feature at SBYPC’s events. The Non-Profit Liaison is also responsible for obtaining the relevant marketing materials from the featured non-profit and helping the board ensure that events run smoothly, as may be needed.
The Communication Director helps to advance community awareness of SBYPC activities. The Communications Director works closely with the Marketing Director to create awareness, to promote SBYPC, and to oversee content development.
The Communications Director is responsible for working with the board to develop strategies on how to communicate SBYPC's message to potential members and sponsors, and to generate interest in SBYPC's mission using a range of methods, including press releases, social media, and email campaigns.
The SBYPC Events Co-Director is responsible for the management and coordination of Monthly Business Casual Mixers, Annual Summer Soirée, Annual Holiday Gala Benefit and any other special events approved by the Board, including securing an appropriate Venue Host for each event, and obtaining the relevant marketing materials from the Venue Host.
The Events Director works closely with the Events Coordinator and the other Events Co-Director to ensure SBYPC events run smoothly.
The SBYPC Treasurer is responsible for updating the Board on SBYPC's finances at the monthly board meetings, depositing cash and checks, writing checks for expenses, working with the President and subcommittees in setting event budgets, and assisting the Board ensure events run smoothly.
