HOST AN EVENT

  • WHAT TO EXPECT

    Our monthly mixers are typically scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:30pm, excluding August and December. These events attract 75-100 people on average. Our special events, such as the FUEL Speaker Series, the Annual Summer Soirée in August and the Annual Holiday Gala Benefit in December can attract between 200 – 300 young professionals.

  • EVENT PROMOTION

    Your venue will be highlighted in all event promotion. We use social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest as well as opt-in email campaigns to reach thousands of young professionals in our local area. In some cases, we may also partner with other organizations to co-promote the event, take out print advertising, or use other digital marketing to advertise our events.

WHAT’S REQUIRED?

WE WANT EVERY EVENT WE PUT ON TO BE MEMORABLE. MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW ENSURES A SUCCESSFUL EVENT AND A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE.

  • HAPPY HOUR PRICING

    A cash bar is common, but happy hour pricing or specialty cocktails are appreciated and generate additional bar sales. Complimentary beverages will attract a larger crowd.  

    PRIVATE SPACE

    Our group needs a private space with bar access, separate from other diners or bar patrons. This could be a spacious patio, section of your restaurant without dining tables or a free standing venue where food and drink are brought in (such as a business, gallery or theater). This space must also have controlled entry/exit points.

    CLIMATE CONTROL

    With a large crowd in a small space, it can heat up quickly! We ask that you provide air conditioning or take measures to ensure a comfortable atmosphere for guests.

  • APPETIZERS

    We ask that our venues provide light appetizers for our guests. Ideally, these appetizers highlight your special cuisine and give guests insight into the experience they can expect from your establishment.

    WI-FI ACCESS

    During the event, we’ll need access to a Wi-Fi signal to run our event registration. if you have a password protected network, we’ll ask that you provide us with the password prior to the start of the event.

    MARKETING ASSETS

    We ask that you provide your logo and a blurb about your business to use for promotional purposes. A photo of your location is also helpful.
