SANTA BARBARA YOUNG PROFESSIONAL OF 2017
The Santa Barbara Young Professional of the Year Award is an award given each year to an individual age 45 or younger who has demonstrated the traits and actions of an exemplary young professional in our community. The SBYPC Board of Directors encourages everyone to nominate a young professional who has exhibited a level of excellence in what they do.
Anyone can nominate a young professional for this award and the young professional does not have to be a member of SBYPC to considered, so long as the nominee meets the qualifications in order to win. An individual only needs one nomination to be considered for the award. Multiple nominations do not equal multiple entries or a greater chance of winning.
NOMINATIONS CAN BE SUBMITTED BY USING THE FORM BELOW FOR THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:
Someone who has shown that he or she can take charge and motivate others within his or her organization in the community.
Someone who has demonstrated the ability to help other young professionals by utilizing his or her resources, knowledge or relationships to help someone else’s development.
Someone who has shown passion for a particular cause or causes by serving on non-profit/charity boards, committees or who volunteers at charitable events in our community.
Someone who has demonstrated the ability to utilize his or her available resources, knowledge and relationships to build an organization and create value.
NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2017 YOUNG PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR HAVE CLOSED. THE TOP FIVE NOMINEES WILL BE ANNOUNCED BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1ST.
